Addie and Chris’ Handmade Wedding

When Addie and Chris began telling me what they had planned for their wedding, I knew it was an event I just had to photograph.  We immediately clicked, and I loved their idea of an intimate, laid back wedding filled with family and friends.  But I was in no way prepared for what a truly incredible day it was going to be.   When I arrived at her grandfather’s house in Ramseur, NC I was blown away by Addie’s stunning creative talent and her dedication to making their day as beautiful as she’d imagined.  From the gorgeous invitations, to the little pies they had baked for their guests, to the adorable gnomes she sculpted out of clay to top the cake her mother-in-law had made, I couldn’t believe they had done it all by hand.  They even built the structure that held the twinkle lights and surrounded their reception while they ate the home-cooked meal.  It was obvious that a lot of love went into this amazing day, and it could not have been more beautiful.
